Just as in the "good ol' days", Purdue and IU are preparing to play in their "bowl" game for the bucket. Or as I used to refer to it back in the mid-90's, the "2000 Flushes" bowl game. I sometimes heard it called the "Tidy Bowl" game as well. No matter! I hope Purdue plays well and sets the stage for next year and a better program. Dropping this game would suck in a year in which Purdue beat both OSU and Michigan.

I think it'll end up something like 35-28, or even 41-38 with Purdue getting behind in the second quarter and then forcing one critical error in the third.

But, if Purdue (OSU beaters) show up it could be 72-6, if Purdue (Wisc. shutout) shows up it could be 31-10 IU wins.

I really don't see IU putting up numbers outside of the 30's on our D, so as long as the offense clicks we should be fine.

This game scares me as well. IU's alot better than their record (we may be as well) and given how many bad breaks B10 officials have dished out to them, could you not see a alot of makeup calls in this game. I know that sounds a little ridiculous, but as much as I hate IU, those guys have gotten screwed over and the universe has a way of righting itself.

This'll be a competitive game IMO.

This game scares me. If bad Purdue (the team that showed up for NIU, NU, Minny, & Wisky) shows up in Bloomington, they will get smoked. The 62-10 win last year was fun, but it will certainly give IU added motivation.
