VB Wins Wyoming Invitational, Moves to 6-0

Volleyball moved up to #16 with a 3-0 weekend at the Wyoming Invitational, dropping their first sets of the year but rallying to beat host Wyoming in five. They'll be in Lawrence for the Kansas Invitational this week, playing Belmont, #11 Creighton, and host #14 Kansas, with coverage TBD.

VB Rolls Tide, Sweeps Mortar Board Premier

Volleyball swept Alabama Saturday to secure the Mortar Board Premier, the fifth time in the last seven seasons that Purdue has started 3-0 in the tournament. They're on the road for two weeks for invitationals at Wyoming and Kansas, so catch our season preview before they return September 15 for the Stacey Clark Classic.

VB Sweeps Cyclones, Plays Missouri Friday

Danielle Cuttino led the high-flying Boiler volleyball team to a three-set sweep of Iowa State in Columbia, MO Thursday evening, eliminating the Cyclones 26-24, 25-21, 25-13. Purdue advances to face host Missouri Friday at 7:00 PM in a rematch of Purdue's second-round win in 2013 over the fourth-seeded Tigers; the match will be shown on ESPN3.

VB Opens NCAAs Against Iowa State

Purdue volleyball was one of eight Big Tenteen schools chosen for the NCAA tournament, which kicks off later this week. The Boilers will play Iowa State at 5:30 PM ET Thursday, with the winner advancing to meet either #15 Missouri or Northern Illinois at 7:00 PM ET on Friday.

VB Edges Indiana, Swept At Penn State

Purdue volleyball split once again, winning 3-2 at Indiana for their ninth consecutive win over the Hoosiers and losing 0-3 at Penn State. The Boilers finish the regular season at Maryland Wednesday and Ohio State Friday before the NCAA tournament field is announced Sunday night.
