Purdue Basketball Beat: Season 2 Episode 5

Purdue Basketball Beat: Season 2 Episode 5

Purdue-basketball-beat-logo.png

Dark times descend on the Purdue Basketball Beat, as Michael and Aneesh delve into the Boilermakers' bumpy last three weeks. Unexpected losses to Gardner Webb and North Florida, as well as the losses to Vanderbilt and Notre Dame, ended the nonconference on a sour note as Matt Painter's team heads into the Big Ten slate. We give our thoughts on the performances so far, debate the ideal minute distribution of Purdue's wings, complain about Coach Painter's substitution pattern with AJ Hammons and Isaac Haas, and give broad thoughts on the (possibly revised) Big Ten expectations. All that, plus a Bill Cosby story and a suspenseful disappearance. Have a safe and merry Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus/general winter season/vacation/New Year's!
