Purdue Football Visits Tyler Trent

For those not on twitter (and man, you’re missing all the fun), you may not yet have seen that not only did Jeff Brohm open his postgame presser by speaking about Tyler, but several members of the team swung by to see him in person on Sunday.

David Blough, Elijah Sindelar, DJ Knox, Markus Bailey and Kirk Barron somehow all fit into the Trent household (we hope Mama Trent didn’t have to cook for all of them) and presented Tyler with the game ball from the win over Nebraska.

Yeah, man, that’s the good stuff right there.

With all sports, sometimes teams play in a way that make the fan base develop a special connection with them. Sometimes it’s the heart, sometimes it’s the personality, sometimes it’s the truly good men that the guys are off the field of play. And sometimes it’s all of those things.

The words “thank you” sometimes seem insignificant, but we at BS would like to thank the Purdue football team for continuing to be great guys that are super-easy to root for.

Keep chugging, Tyler. We’re with you.
