Isaac Haas Sued For Spreading "Incurable STDs" [Updated]

Yeah, that's not a joke headline and not one anybody should be joking about. Isaac Haas, Purdue's stalwart center, has been charged in a civil lawsuit with knowingly infecting a sexual partner named Alyssa Chambers with herpes. The story in the J&C has additional details that include the suit being against not only Haas, but also Purdue University and his girlfriend, Madison Millsaps. 

The alleged encounter occurred last May and from the story it sounds like Isaac had a fling and his girlfriend got mad and outed him as having infected girls in the past with STDs. Evidently, Millsaps attempted to walk that back later but the damage was apparently already done. Chambers claims she has an STD and that it can't be from anybody else. 

One hopes this is not simply a love triangle fight gone to the worst levels of retaliation but at the same time, I also hope it's not true that Isaac is infecting young women with STDs. Guh, what a mess.
