WBB Thumps Colgate, Moves to 5-4

Purdue women's basketball followed up a 3-1 road trip with a convincing 71-51 rout of Colgate, moving them to 5-4 on the season. They'll be in action this week Tuesday vs Central Michigan, Thursday at Ball State, and Saturday vs NC Central.

WBB Stopped By Salukis, Falls To 1-3

Purdue women's basketball had a rough outing Sunday against Southern Illinois, losing 64-61 in a game that dropped them to 1-3, their worst start as an NCAA program. Their lone win came Thursday, a 71-41 rout of USC Upstate. Purdue heads to Cancún this week for games against Wichita State, Northeastern, and Stanford.

WBB Struggles In Maine, Opens 0-2

Purdue women's basketball got off to a rough start at the Maine Tip Off Tournament last weekend, falling to the hosts and Villanova to start the season 0-2. The Boilers got double-figure scoring in both games from senior Ashley Morrissette and freshman Dominique Oden, and are back in West Lafayette for home games against SC Upstate and Southern Illinois this week.

Tonight, Nebraska took advantage of both weaknesses, running out to an early lead and never looking back as they held off the Boilers, 62-61, handing Purdue just their second home loss in eleven games.
