Purdue women's basketball returns three starters from last year's 20-win squad and adds four talented freshmen, including five-star recruits Lamina Cooper and Ae'Rianna Harris. Will they be enough to improve on last season's sixth-place conference finish and NCAA first-round loss? Signs point to yes.

VB Tops Maryland, Pushes Wisconsin in Madison

Purdue volleyball posted yet another split in conference play last week, struggling to beat Maryland in four sets before pushing Wisconsin to five sets in Madison. The Boilers moved to 15-10 on the season, 5-9 in conference play, and will travel to MSU Wednesday before their Senior Night match against Iowa on Saturday.

VB Upsets Michigan for Weekend Split

Purdue volleyball continued their trend of splitting weekend matches, dropping #13 Michigan in four sets before losing to #15 Michigan State in four. The Boilers remain tied for 10th in conference play with Indiana, and they'll face Maryland Wednesday in Holloway before traveling to Wisconsin for a Saturday match.

Saquon Barkley is Good

The honeymoon period for Gerad Parker's stint as Purdue interim head coach ended abruptly Saturday, as a 17-17 halftime tie mutated into a 62-24 loss. Saquon Barkley led the visitors with 277 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs, while David Blough threw for 281 yards and 2 TDs. The Boilers will visit Minnesota next week in conference play.
