Purdue went from a possible sweep to nearly an 0-2 hole to a five-set upset of #5 Nebraska, making short work of the visitors in a 15-8 fifth set similar to their win at Kentucky earlier this season. The Boilers are tied for fifth in conference play and have rematches against Indiana and Minnesota this week.

Purdue’s road trip to Penn State didn’t work out well, and it’s been a truly snake-bitten year for our Boilermakers, but there’s a bit of hopefulness coming this Homecoming weekend.
Purdue started off strong, sweeping Northwestern and going up 1-0 on Illinois, but they couldn’t hold on, and without Blake Mohler, they dropped the last three sets, falling to 1-3 in Big Tenteen play. Up next: at Indiana, then the return match in Evanston against the Wildcats.
