Keep Dylan Williams in Your Thoughts This Weekend

Most of what we post around here is superfluous, sports-related nonsense and often written with a significant amount of sarcasm weaved in. However, this is not one of those posts.

Dylan Williams of Union City, Indiana was hit with a baseball during a little league game on Tuesday and died Wednesday. Dylan's dad was coaching and saw his 8-year-old little boy get hit and fall down.

"He was playing first base and they went to throw a ball to him and he wasn't really looking, and to me it looked like it hit him in the side of the neck and he just dropped to the ground."

I simply cannot image the sadness and emptiness that Dylan's family is experiencing right now, along with his teammates, friends and the community. Plans are potentially forming for some kind of a tribute or memorial event for Dylan.

So have a great weekend... and value every minute you have, with everyone that you have.
