Jeff Brohm has hired Bob Diaco as Purdue’s 2020 Defensive Coordinator to replace Nick Holt. Needless to say, Boilerdowd has some thoughts.
Diaco Facts:
2009- Cincy 68th in America, allowed 381yds/gm (but their scoring defense and sacks/gm ranked a bit higher)
2012- Best defense in America at UND; Helped UND get to the national title
2017- Worst defense in B1G at Nebraska (116th (130 in America) allowed 438 yds/game
2019- LaTech was 31st in America allowing 381yds/gm (super stingy v the run)
He has also been an LB, RB, OLB coach and was HC at UConn - Co DC, Anthony Poindexter was Diaco’s DC at UConn
